I actually found myself wishing Udeh (18 min) was playing more than Adams (21 min) today. Nothing against KJ, but I like Udeh's defensive intensity and rim protection. The team seemed to pick it up offensively when he was on the floor because of the better defense. I really like how he is developing.
From KUSports.com - "Udeh finished with eight points on 4-of-4 shooting to go along with four rebounds, two steals, and two blocks. While individual plus-minus might not be super informative, Udeh posted a team-high +27 in the win."
18 point on 9/10 shooting from the 5-spot is a pretty good day, I would say.
I am also very impressed with Udeh's intellect and presence in the interview room. He is well-spoken.
In another vein, I read this from The Sooners Wire via Yahoo Sports - "This loss drops the Sooners 2-10 in the Big 12 and 12-13 overall. When OU does leave the Big 12, it will be not a moment to soon for the men’s basketball program."
