We're at that point in the season where teams are on the cusp of being eliminated.
With Tech's loss tonight to OSU, they're now on the brink of elimination being 7 games back with 7 games to go. In short, Tech needs to win out and everyone else needs to lose a LOT. Tech hosts KSU on Saturday which will probably put the proverbial fork in them.
Next up is OU. They're currently down 5 to Baylor, and if that holds up, they'll be 6 back with 7 to go. Depending on what else happens, we can end their run on Saturday.
KU can still get to 14 wins if we go 7-0, which would lock at least a tie for 1st (final game would brind Texas back one).
But as things sit right now, there are 7 teams within a 2 game spread for a share of the regular season title.
