This season will be Cam Martin's last unless he can get a medical redshirt for it... which will require him never playing again this season.

In 2018 there was an NCAA medical redshirt rule change. According to the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Compliance, Scott Young, “the NCAA has two requirements for a medical redshirt; the injury must have occurred in the first half of the season, and the athlete must have competed in less than 30 percent of the season. You must provide documentation of the injury, and it must be considered season-ending.”
Cam has only played in 4 games, so he meets the 9 game max limit (31 games x 30%).
His last appearance was in game 14 of 31 (first half of season criteria met) against Texas Tech on 3JAN23.
SO, if...
1. He sits the rest of this season, AND
2. Self has a scholarship for him next season AND
3. Self's plans for next season allow for him to return AND
4. Cam actually wants to return to play (and go to school) for one more season (degree)...
... we might actually get to see him again next season.
