This team does not have a lot of room for error. Specially with the competition so intense. (I believe that all but one of our games remaining are all Quad 1 games and we have already played 13 Quad 1 games so far.) Pretty stiff competition!
I said it before and I say it again. If this team is not aggressive and focused then it loses. Last night was a great example of that. For a few minutes KU lost its focus and was not very aggressive at the beginning of the second half. Texas cut the lead and tied the game in relatively short order.
Brought back the intensity and we open up the lead again. Lazy passes and lack of focus on D will kill us.
Perhaps we need to play all of our games with just a tad bit of desperation so that we keep that aggressiveness on the court.
And how about the bench! Texas took out Wilson and the team responded.

I was thoroughly impressed with the bench last night. Personally, I'd like the rotation to stick to eight.
Starters of Dick, Harris, McCullar, Wilson, Adams and first off the bench are Udeh, Yesufu and Rice. I think that gives us the best chance of winning. In foul situations, Pettiford and Clemence play (since Ejiofor is injured)

But the fact that OU blew out #2 Bama and other teams are seeing double digit losses, it just seems like a bloodbath this year.

I like the way you think, but be advised HCBS currently has only 10 guys to roll with -- the starters, Joe Yes, Udeh, MJ, Jank and walk-on Fr Dillon Wilhite.
Submitted FYI --
Present injury list for KANSAS (source: covers.com - KANSAS)
Player POS Status
B. Pettiford Jr G Out indefinitely - Hamstring ( Tue, Feb 7)
Z. Clemence F Out indefinitely - Knee ( Sat, Feb 4)
Z. Ejiofor F Mid Feb - Foot ( Mon, Jan 30)
C. Martin F Out indefinitely - Shoulder ( Mon, Jan 23)
W. Evers G Out indefinitely - Foot ( Sat, Jan 7)
C. McCarthy G Out indefinitely - Undisclosed ( Thu, Nov 24)
K. Cuffe Jr G Mid Feb - Knee ( Sun, Nov 13)
The reasons that Joe Yes, Udeh and MJ got a chance to impress all of us yesterday was because Bobby, Zuby and Zack were not available.
Bobby has been fighting his tweaky hamstring all season, and was actually ineffective for ISU last Saturday. He sat for the tu game yesterday, so as a minimum the "Tue, Feb 7" should be at least as early as "Mon, Feb 6". Yeah, it's a Nitpick.
