Jerome Tang...what?

During the pos-game interview, HCJT apparently claimed that prior to 1988 KSU had a better Final Four and Big 8 Conference Title Pedigree than KU (I say 'apparently' because the videos I saw were clipped). On Twitter folks were posting "clips" of the records that would confirm that, but based on my scant research he's smoking something wacky...

The link below lists the Big 8 titles won. According to the link, KU had 25 regular season titles to 15 for KSU.

The link below lists the final four participants since 1939. From the best I can tell, it is KU - 7 and KSU - 4 (prior to 1988).
