"When I was a freshman, I remember Coach Naismith telling us how important it was to play good defense." - Mitch Lightfoot
So many times he's dribble penetrated, and just angled away from the hoop to kick it back out to the perimeter. If you're going to drive into the paint, every once in a while you need to try to get to the basket, or you're no threat. So frustrating.

I get the league is good but sorry no way Baylor, KSU or TCU have more pure talent, just hard to believe that HCBS can’t put a more talented team out there or out coach these guys… let’s see what happens from
here on out.

“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”
1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.
100%. See my take the other day on his bad shots in the lane. He did hit one actual, rim-centric layup tonite, and I about launched out of my chair in excitement and joy. But every other shot was the dreadful prayer floater and the high-bank prayer while flying out of bounds. He also went inside at least 2-3 times with no clue what he was going to do once there and then threw an errant turnover.
Bad. Bad bad bad. And I have loved Dajuan’s game before. But when a non-scoring PG makes so many mistakes, it’s no esta bien.

Offensively speaking, yes, I think Baylor's guards are way better than Harris. Defensively and as a PG that can direct the team he's top five. He is an excellent passer and he's awesome defensively, but he can't really get his own shot. He simply either hits three's from time to time if he's wide open or he can drive to the basket sometimes.
Baylor's guards last night could get there own shot pretty much whenever they wanted. That one dude took Wilson twice, that was so annoying, yet impressive.
In order to take someone off the dribble you have to be quicker than they are or at least have handles that allow you to take them off the dribble and they have to respect your shot from three or they can sag just enough to make it really hard for you to get down hill. Harris doesn't get that respect. He's similar to Miles in that regard.
