I do have to wonder why Pettiford was side-out inbounding at the end of OT?
1. Self notes BP had never had done a side out inbounding at game end before.
2. Isn’t the most effective way to ensure Jalen gets the ball is to have *him* inbound and then Bobby or whoever pass the ball right back to Jalen as he enters, bang-bang? Instead of planning to inbound to him, knowing he’s covered and probably doubled? (Note that Self says he thought JWil was open but BP made the “safe” play.) I cannot recall ever seeing such a play fail for any team that did it, but I may just have a small sample size.
