Jim Boeheim says success measured by NCAA tourney, takes shot at Big Ten (ESPN)

That's rich. ACC went 14-5 in the tourney, Big 12 went 13-5, almost a wash. Head to head we went 3-3, again, a wash.

However, B12 had 60% of its members make the tourney (6/10), ACC had 33% (5/15). AND for the last two years B12 won it all so...

I think Mr. Boeheim was choosing his data for personal reasons and was not interested in other data that does not support his position. His statements make it so the early non schedule means nothing. I believe the NCAA tourney tells us who is playing the best in those weekends but necessarily who was the best teams for the whole season.
