Got to meet HCBS in person

On a little southern vacation with Mrs. NotO and as we were walking through the marketplace in Charleston SC, I see a familiar face coming my way.

I said, "Hi Coach" and he stopped and said hello. Told him that I was a KU alum and a big fan and he asked me my name, shook my hand and introduced me to his wife and (very pregnant) daughter.

I told him I didn't want to interrupt his vacation and just wanted to congratulate him on his NC. As we moved away, I yelled out "let's do it again", so at least I was able to give him some much-needed advice.

The best part: as we moved on, my wife (non-KU grad) looked up at me and said, "Who was that?"

Can't make this stuff up. Super cool experience.

Brother Bay hope you and Mrs. Bay are doing well. The LKF clan, dependent on a few items falling in place, might be coming to the Bay Area in fall. Will keep you posted, would love to meet up.
