Sure hope something finally happens. Things look pretty set right now as far as conference realignment stresses, but you can never tell when those tectonic plates start to grind again… and KU football needs to be on granite solid ground when they do. Stadium renovations are a needed part of that transition. As Goff emphasized in this article
“It's critical. It's not important. It's not nice. It's not, 'Yeah, it'd be great.' It's critical. Yeah, we have to get this right this time."
Frankly, if KU gets competitive football back, our alma mater has a real opportunity to become one of the big faces — if not THE face with both men’s hoops and football making waves —for the new twelve team Big 12 come the summer of 2025.
