This flock of Jayhawks was recently digitally captured having a great time in Caesar’s Superdome in New Orleans.

Names, please, if you can.
(I am sure of all but two of the 15 gents shown. Okay, okay, 2.5 — I still can’t tell Marcus from Markieff.)

My guess,

Aaron Miles
RussRobb
Wayne Simien
Nick Collison
Drew Gooden
Jeff Hawkins
Mario Chalmers
Christian Moody
Paul Pierce’
Matt Kleinmann
Markieff Morris

Can’t quite place the other three.

Don't worry about the mules, just load the wagon!!

Good on all the ones you mentioned, Corpus, well done!

I was told the tall gent peeking out from behind Markieff (are you sure? was my estimate also) is none other than Eric Chenowith.

The two fellows I cannot place are the chap in the back (cap on backwards) to the right of Dr. Moody and the bearded fellow between Big Red Kleinmann and Cheno.

Anybody?

My quick guess on those two were Jamari Traylor and Elijah Johnson. I was 49% sure about Elijah but less so about Jamari. Would never have gotten Eric C.

EJ is the bearded one between Kleinman and Cheno. I thought the other fellow was Bryant Nash or Ben McLemore

The fellow next to Cheno is actually Jeff Graves.

My nephew the deputy sheriff pointed to the ear comparison with another pic he found and they match. And as I looked at more pics of Gravy it became clear that it is him.

A JayhawkSlant member suggested Bryant Nash or Freeman West for backwards cap.
EDITED
Examining the pics I could find Nash is a possibility.

I could only find one halfway decent pic of West (1988-89, 1989-90), from the KUSports.com article on The Pitino Embarrassment, but it sure looks like him to me. And I say this after looking at rosters and internet pics from 1984 on trying to place him.

But others are persuading me it is Nash.

If anyone knows for sure one way or the other, please advise.

If these are right, we have (roughly L to R) —

Aaron Miles
RussRobb
Wayne Simien
Nick Collison
Drew Gooden
Bryant Nash, Jr
Jeff Hawkins
Christian Moody
Mario Chalmers
Matt Kleinmann
Jeff Graves
Eric Chenowith
Markieff Morris
Paul Pierce
Danny Manning

My nephew contacted his HS classmate Brady Morningstar, and Brady sez “Bryant”.

So there ya have it!

By the way, it seems that while the picture we've been talking about shows up just fine using the Google Chrome browser, I just discovered that it does not if I try to view the RCB using the Microsoft Edge browser. And yes, I've downloaded and installed the latest Edge version.

Just thought you'd like to know.
