Despite the NCAA case still not being settled as I write this, the new lifetime contract already seems to be having a positive impact on recruiting if having the Rivals #3 recruiting class for 2022 is any indication. And while freshman are always a question mark, it certainly helps to have high ranking talent coming in to backfill the losses from the AY2021-22 team.

But given all the above, and not wanting to jinx the whole thing from the outset, my "Pass Year" projection for Bill passing Phog is going to be next season, AY2023-24.
