Comments at the end of the game

I noted one of the commentators stating this could be his (I think he may have been talking of Coach Self) last shot at a NC. Did anyone else catch that? Were they suggesting that he may retire before then or were they implying something else?

Nobody knows. I thought it was BS for all the suspension stuff to flare up the instant we wont the NC.

This has been going on so long, and what we’re accused of is mostly not against the rules any more, that anyone other than the insane committee that is deciding has no idea what’s coming.

Purely as a X and O basketball coach, and a program builder, Self is world class among the best there’s ever been. If the NCAA can’t admit that the last 20 years have been all about paying kids since they’re 12, and if they can’t get past trying to punish KU and Self, then let the chips fall where they may. Otherwise let’s take the punishment and move on. Get past it and move into the next phase of being great.
