Anna’s mom is our only one left (turns 90 this year, and she’s slowing down - but I note this morning I’ve once again awakened to the smell of pinto beans slow cooking in the crockpot overnight

* Found the Distinguished flying cross, Silver Air medal with four oak leaf clusters, Combat Medal, and a shoe box full of other assorted medals, ribbons, and citations when I cleaned out their house. Who knew!!?
