Not sure I would have done the same at the time, and I recall saying something to the tv about push it, pass it, but when Baycot went down with 50 seconds left and we got the ball across half court, clearly with a 5 on 4 fastbreak, we slowed down and paused at the time. (McCormack was pleading for the ball) I'm not blaming anyone for anything, but I may have kept it going. And in this case, I'm going to call Incredible Sportsmanship.

I thought we were determined to run as much clock as we could; a quick shot then even a high percentage shot wasn't necessarily the best play.

I'm not sure if that makes me a "bad sport" but I was yelling at them to take advantage of the 5 on 4 as well. And of course, it's not clear that it was "sportsmanship" or just a little confusion on offense.

A couple of the talking heads even noted that KU should have taken advantage of 5 on 4.
I rather had hoped they would, but they didn't, and that gave the refs the time to finally whistle for an injury stop.
But as Illhawk noted, with less than a minute to go in the game and a one point lead, running the clock down before scoring would definitely be a part of the plan. And they did manage to burn :28 before DAVE hit our final 2 points with :22 to go.

WE have shown good sportsmanship all year with Self and Ochai as the leaders. I am convinced that the stoppage by Wilson was intentional. We win (or lose) with class. That is KU.
