The NCAA announced 11 officials for the Final Four.
The ones that were not on the floor for the semifinal games:
Jeff Anderson, West Henrietta, New York;
Ron Groover, Newnan, Georgia;
Joe Lindsay, Harleysville, Pennsylvania;
Terry Oglesby, Maryville, Missouri;
Tony Padilla, Sacramento, California
I saw an article lauding local guy Anderson for being one of tonight’s refs.
That leaves two more to come from the remaining 4, plus an alternate.
Looking just at geographics, I’m hoping the other two are the Georgia and California guys. Not interested in having a Missouri guy (especially) or a Philly guy (Harleysville is just to the north) calling an NC game involving KANSAS.
Your thoughts?
Anyone know anything about these guys besides where they’re from?
