The guys played great. Villanova went down swinging as expected. Braun's late 3 was a dagger and the one following it drove it deeper. So great to see these guys get this far.

Now my least favorite 2 teams (ok the fools from Columbia are in the mix, but let's be clear, they're not a competitive basketball program anymore) tip off. Rooting for the meteor...or maybe a dual disqualification. But since I have to choose, I just want Coach K eliminated. So sick of his "farewell tour" and don't want it sullying our experience in New Orleans.

The refs certainly let them play, but it looked to me that Big Dave was hacked to death and should have had several and-1's..

I agree with your statement that the refs let them play. It was actually refreshing to me to see the game have somewhat of a flow to it. I do agree with you about DMac getting fouled, especially on one of his last dunks. The defender nearly took his head off. I felt that way last Sunday with a dunk from OA. I'm wondering if the refs are getting caught watching and missing the obvious foul in an attempt to stop the dunk.

I know I yelled at the screen "how is that not a foul?" It was so obvious and I think if he missed the dunk he would have gotten the call but he should have had a free throw anyway.
