Don't worry about the mules, just load the wagon!!
I guess it depends on how you define blue blood. Here is a list of some Final Fours that I would consider true Blue Blood Final Fours. Any thoughts on which is the bluest of the blue blood Final Fours? I'd have to go with either 1993 or 2022.
This is the bluest of the blue blood Final Fours. Here are some blue blood Final Fours
1971 -- UCLA, Kansas, Villanova, Western Kentucky
1972 -- Florida St., UCLA, UNC, Louisville
1975 -- UCLA, Kentucky, Syracuse, Louisville
1986 -- Duke, Kansas, Louisville, LSU
1988 -- Arizona, Duke, Kansas, Oklahoma
1991 -- UNC, Duke, Kansas, UNLV
1993 -- Kentucky, Kansas, UNC, Michigan
1997 -- Kentucky, UNC, Arizona, Minnesota
2001 -- Duke, Arizona, Michigan St., Maryland
2008 -- Kansas, UCLA, UNC, Memphis
2009 -- UNC, Michigan St., Villanova, UConn
2012 -- Kentucky, Kansas, Louisville, Ohio St.
2015 -- Duke, Kentucky, Michigan St., Wisconsin
2022 =- Kansas, Duke, UNC, Villanova
Which do you think is the bluest of the Blue Blood Final Fours?

CJ - since your ? is Blue Blood Final Fours, I would use Final Four Appearances. Agree with your pics of 1993 and 2022, when using current year total FF Appearances, both total 60. Definitely Blue Blood.

JR, you brought up a great point. If you define Blue Blood as most trips to the final four then you can calculate the total number of Final Fours for all the schools in the Final Four each year. Great notion. Of course I did that and lo and behold the No. 1 year is 1993 with 62 Final Fours between the 4 teams. 2022 is oh so close with 61 Final Fours between the four teams. 1991 is tied for 3rd with 58 with 2008 also with 58. Here is the table of all Final Fours and the total number of Final Fours for all 4 teams. I bet you don't see this anywhere else but this board. Thanks for the idea JR.

CJ - Thanks for the list - am sure won't find it anywhere else. I had searched earlier and found total appearances on Wikipedia - they don't include vacated appearances, so 1993 (Michigan's 92 & 93 vacated) and 2022 (Nova's 1971 vacated) and 2022 stand tied with 60 @.

I'd have to put 1975 in that list. I've highlighted below teams that are the "least blue blooded" of the groups (based on my biased opinion).
1971 -- UCLA, Kansas, Villanova, Western Kentucky
1972 -- Florida St., UCLA, UNC, Louisville
1975 -- UCLA, Kentucky, Syracuse, Louisville
1986 -- Duke, Kansas, Louisville, LSU
1988 -- Arizona, Duke, Kansas, Oklahoma
1991 -- UNC, Duke, Kansas, UNLV
1993 -- Kentucky, Kansas, UNC, Michigan
1997 -- Kentucky, UNC, Arizona, Minnesota
2001 -- Duke, Arizona, Michigan St., Maryland
2008 -- Kansas, UCLA, UNC, Memphis
2009 -- UNC, Michigan St., Villanova, UConn
2012 -- Kentucky, Kansas, Louisville, Ohio St.
2015 -- Duke, Kentucky, Michigan St., Wisconsin
2022 =- Kansas, Duke, UNC, Villanova
My personal list of blue bloods would include KU, Kentucky, UNC, Duke, Indiana, Louisville, UCLA, Villanova, and Michigan State. I base my totally biased list on long-term success over multiple decades. So there are schools like Georgetown who might have been blue bloods but who haven't maintained it. There are other schools that have been good recently, who IMHO haven't earned the title yet.

I might put the top 5 as follows:
1. 2022 (3 clear bluebloods (BB) at the top of their game, and a 2X recent Nat'l champ who is climbing the BB ladder)
2. 1993 the big 3 with the Fab 5. Could easily be #1 on my list
3. 1991 What a roster UNLV had that year!
4. 1975 I don't remember Syracuse back then, but pretty strong lineup of teams
5. 2008 though they had elite one and dones, Memphis just isn't a BB. And UCLA was fading

Of course there a numerous criteria.
Some would be:
Total wins
Total Final Fours
Total championships. ( Maybe with a cut off of two or one with high marks on the first two criteria.)
I like simple, bright line test so I suggest, NCAA championships won in at least two decades. This thins out the teams that have a great run and then not so much. Florida and U Conn come to mind. All four of this years schools are in along with UCLA, Kentucky and maybe a couple others?
