KUAthletics.com -- Super-senior Remy Martin was named the MVP of the Midwest Region, while Christian Braun and David McCormack earned All-Region Team honors.

Link to story with info.

Prediction: If KU should win it all, Remy will get NCAAT MVP/MOP as well. and join Ochai with his jersey in the AFH rafters.

The actual award is Midwest Regional Most Outstanding Player, the KUAD writer got it wrong.

KANSAS’ RECENT NCAA REGIONAL MOST OUTSTANDING PLAYERS
2022: Remy Martin
2018: Malik Newman
2012: Thomas Robinson
2003: Kirk Hinrich
2002: Drew Gooden

Source: KCStar - Kerkhoff: Midwest Regional’s most outstanding player is a Kansas Jayhawk who comes off the bench

By the way, if you can read the story Kerkhoff writes:

Martin has started for KU since suffering a bone bruise on his right knee in late December.

Clearly he is missing a *not*, i.e., he meant to write -
Martin has NOT started for KU since suffering a bone bruise on his right knee in late December.
