"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." - Mark Twain "Innocents Abroad"
“Many viewers noted the vibration in the lower part of Moore’s right calf. Such a vibration is typically consistent with a torn Achilles tendon, though no diagnosis was made regarding Moore’s injury at the time of this article being published.”

If Justin Moore can’t go, Nova loses its #2 scorer. 15 ppg
So if KU can beat Charlie Moore and Miami tomorrow… all I can think is that with all the upsets in the Midwest bracket and now this… it sure seems as if the basketball gods are removing obstacles to the NC game for KU.
Wouldn’t wish it on anyone, but KU has been hit so hard so often in the past, it almost seems like a karmic event favoring the Jayhawks “if” they can beat Miami.

Don't worry about the mules, just load the wagon!!
1997 KU best team in the country and Jerod Haase breaks his wrist. Both Jacque Vaughn and Scot Pollard had pretty severe injuries during the season and were not 100%. 2015 Embiid goes down. I really think KU runs the table with Embiid. those are certainly not the only major injury hurdles but those are the two where we seriously have look to be odds on favorites. 2020 injury to the common sense of the world and deprives KU of chance to take the best team ion the country again to the NCAA. Maybe the basketball gods are feeling very bad about that one.

All I can think of is 2011 when KU played the last elite 8 game and all the other #1 seeds had been eliminated. A clear run to the championship...then we played a stinker against VCU. I'm not even thinking about Villanova until and unless we win on Sunday.

Before Archie Marshall tore up his knee in 1986 it seemed we had Duke beat.
I occasionally wonder if we go on to beat Louisville that Monday whether there's the vibe to win 6 games two years later;
