No, the band is not back together after all these years. There is no White Bird in sight or earshot.

I am being quite literal.

After a week of dismally dreary weather striving mightily to depress the denizens of Lawrence, today dawns crisp and bright and clear here.

Man, I hope this is a GOOD omen for KU Hoops, and not the basketball gods softening the blow.

The gods have been very benevolent.....Gonzaga and Arizona losing last night. Apparently they overlooked the Duke game and are saving that Blue Devil disappointment for Saturday. Let's hope they continue by showing the Tarred Heels an exit this evening.
