We all know about the NCAA record 14 straight regular season conference titles (now 16 total, 11 outright, 5 as co-champion) and the three Final Fours (2008, 2012 and 2018) and the 2008 title and this year finally matching Kentucky for all time D1 program wins (may we pass UK next Friday!).

Here's more.

In 19 Academic Years at KANSAS, Self has...

10 AYs with 30 or more wins (and 28-3 2020 seemed a lock for 30 until COVID-19)

29.1 average wins per year for his KU career (includes NCAA Tournament disasters 2005 and 2006)
and
30.0 average wins per year from AY2006-07 on (Jeremy Case the only player recruited by Roy left in AY2006-07)

Ah, AY2019-20, final record 28-3. KU might have tied 2008 by finishing 37-3 and National Champions. Maybe not. -- but 30 wins that AY looked to be almost certain.

C'est la vie!

Just some musings on how fortunate we have been these past 39 years under Larry, Roy and Bill, and especially these past 19 with Bill in charge.

TEN MORE YEARS! (at least)
Please, sir, we'd like some more...

Back to the more important current business of cheering our Jayhawks to Victory in this year's NCAA Tournament!

ROCK CHALK!
JAYHAWK!
KU!
