Nice game by a lot of different players. Glad to see Mr. Wilson come alive in the 2nd half. Mr McCormack was the man. TT worked very hard to limit the damage Mr Agbaji could do. Really a great team win.
Last Edit: 2 years 8 months ago by hairyhawk. Reason: needed caps

Yeah imagine if this weren’t a team “with very serious problems.” Seriously, very tournament ready. Dave was amazing and remy was very solid, so much so that self had him on the floor in crunch time. As bill says what he loves abt this team is that while flawed they don’t seem to know it. Everyone knows their role and they move the ball on offense and help on defense. I think we got every 50/50 ball tonite. And by getting the one seed it hopefully means we don’t have to meet the teams that will likely beat us til final four ( Kentucky, Ariz and Gonzaga), on top of all that we may be better next yr with a Udeh and Dick in for Dave and och and everyone else getting much better espec Braun, jwill, Harris, joe, clemence, kj, cam, etc. and my guess is KT takes the fall on the recruiting violations and we hire Dooley back as lead asst who can coach two tournaments if that’s the penalty for self. Cld be worse

I have not thought that far ahead. I am just enjoying the way they played today. I just really hope Mr. Lightfoot's injury is not too bad.

Preliminary word is that Mitch has a sprained knee.

He says he'll be ready for the NCAAs.

MRI to be done tomorrow.

I did not realize that TT actually had 10 more shot attempts than KU. KU shot 19 more free throws and made them at almost 80% so that was huge. I really like the addition Mr. Martin brings to this team. The Hawks are a solid team without him but having a true scoring small adds a whole new dimension to the team. Other than him I do not think anyone else can get a shot when the clock is running low. Hopefully the Hawks can get better at the last minute of the half scenario with Mr. Martin up top.

HE are we now just two wins back of Kentucky? So if we win say 5 in the tourney and they win 2 we pass them this year? At least until we vacate Silvio games?
