Over the course on my life I have earned 3 degrees (KU 2, TAMU 1).

I have also earned credit hours from two other schools who happen to be major conference hoops schools -- Indiana (1985) and Baylor (1974). The first was for post-grad work before deciding I didn't want to be an academic and signing up as an officer in the Medical Service Corps of the Army Medical Department. The second was a semester's worth of college credit hours from Baylor (that were all accepted -- along with my pre-Army Allegany Community College 60 credit hours -- by KU when I enrolled On The Hill six years later!) for my course training as a pharmacy technician for the AMEDD 11 years before IU -- aka "my enlisted days".

SO FAR THIS POSTSEASON...

BAYLOR BEARS
The only one of "my" teams (and I use the term loosely in this case) to lose so far, and I hope it stays that way!
'Nuff said.

TEXAS A&M AGGIES
The 8 seeded Aggies have won their first two SEC Tournament games, upsetting 1 seed Auburn 67-62 today after beating Florida yesterday in OT 83-80 on a 0.4 second left trey to keep their NCAA Tournament hopes alive.

The Aggie win today likely knocks Auburn off the 1 seed line for the NCAA Tournament.

Next up: winner of the LSU v Arkansas game.
[EDIT: it's Arkansas]
INDIANA HOOSIERS
Another team fighting for an NCAA Tournament berth, the 9 seed Hoosiers this morning took down Big 10 regular season champion and 1 seed Illinois 65-63, a day after sending Juwan Howard and Michigan packing 74-69 . The Hoosiers and their fans are hoping today's win is the final piece needed to get once perennial powerhouse IU back in The Dance. My fingers are crossed for 'em!

Next up: winner of the game between 4 seed Rutgers and 5 seed IOWA, Iowa being a favorite of ours as the alma mater of two of our dearest friends. [EDIT: it's Iowa]

BUT MY BOTTOM LINE IS IT ALL COMES DOWN TO OUR KANSAS JAYHAWKS!
A KANSAS win this evening and my Friday is complete.

We will not entertain any other thoughts...

ROCK CHALK!
JAYHAWK!
KU!
