As we wait …… I am thinking about winning nine more games and what it will take to do so. I foresee the following and yes these are a stretch but it will take something extra beyond our normal output to win it all.
1) Remy helps win a game or two. This will be in points and assists, no I don't see a defensive transformation.
2) Zach has a 2008 Cole Aldrich like postseason breakout (TxTech and UNC), also in two games - one in KC and one in the Dance.
3) JCL leads the team in scoring one game.
4) KU wins the rebound margin in each game.
Thoughts?

I am liking the way you think. I had contemplated the Zach Clemence idea as well as Remy making a bit of a splash. I would also love to see JCL get a chance to shine.
My question is whether HCBS will give them a chance. He may be forced to do so this weekend, especially with DMac's lingering foot issue.

I am thinking Joe is the one to make an unexpected impact in the post season.

If we can get a repeat of Joe from what he did for Drake last year, that would be fantastic!

Prognostications Review ….. five wins down with four to go.
* We can all agree #1 has been met and will continue to be a major advantage.
* Zach didn’t help much in KC but still has opportunity ahead, we will have to see.
* The outlier of this list remains at low odds, my guess is we will need his shooting at some point, if wee don't we will be in good shape.
*Rebounding has been better and will need to get even better. Results so far;
WV +21, TCU -11, TT even, TxSO +12, CU +16

Prognostications Review ….. seven wins down with two to go.
1 - We can all agree #1 has been met and will continue to be a major advantage.
2 - Zach didn’t help much in KC but still has opportunity ahead, we will have to see. Only 18 minutes in 7 games, not much of an opportunity so far.
3 - The outlier of this list remains at low odds, my guess is we will need his shooting at some point, if we don't we will be in good shape.
4 - Rebounding has been better and will need to get even better. Results so far;
WV +21, TCU -11, TT even, TxSO +12, CU +16, Prov +5, The U +13. This has been good to see. Limiting 2nd chance opportunities will be key.

So far the big one has definitely been Mr. Martin being a super spark off the bench. When he is in he completely changes how the other team can play defense.

Four weeks ago I took a stab at what was next.
1) Remy helps win a game or two. This will be in points and assists, no I don't see a defensive transformation.
** This transfer played out better than could have been imagined. If you recall he played 1 (one) game in February. We dont win 9 without him**
2) Zach has a 2008 Cole Aldrich like postseason breakout (TxTech and UNC), also in two games - one in KC and one in the Dance.
** I look forward to watching him play. With only 19 minutes in 9 games, he couldn’t breakout or get started. The future is bright **
3) JCL leads the team in scoring one game.
** Not all transfers are huge hits. His time was limited - 40 min’s, 21 points**
4) KU wins the rebound margin in each game.
The results - WV +21, TCU -11, TT even, TxSO +12, CU +16, Prov +5, The U +13, Vill +6 (offensive -2), NC -20 (offensive -16) Just looking at the margins without score or game knowledge I would not have guessed 9 wins.
Looking forward to November.
