Hawks 0-3 in league play in the Lonestar State. KU choked away the game in Austin and just blew a tire at the end of tonight’s game. Frustrating to watch them just throw away games that they should win.

Hopefully the Hawks can reverse that in Fort Worth. I thought the loss in Waco was due to poor shooting more than anything else. The Hawks shot 25% from 3 and this team needs to shoot well from the outside to open up the middle. I was a bit disappointed that Mr. yesufu did not see more time on the floor. I know HCBS was not happy when he did not attack with the shot clock running out and instead passed it out t. Mr. Braun who had to try a heave from almost half court.

Interesting observation about being 0-3 in Texas. It sure looked to me like they lost their legs in the second half. Shots were coming up short and they were a hair late getting to loose balls. They expended a ton of energy in the first 10 minutes. I know they're young and conditioned and should be able to keep sustained energy, but they looked worn out. It will be interesting to see how this week plays out.

I don’t think it was fatigue necessarily. As much as I despise Scott Drew and Baylor, they took advantage with their stretch 4/5 players against DMac, KU had poor shot selection, missed a couple of key front ends and just did not play well down the stretch in both halves. It’s not like BU’s D was that great, easy when refs let Bu mug, grab and accost…Ochai said it best “sucks” to miss an opportunity.
