For those who are probabilistically inclined, a win in Waco puts KU's probability of winning the conference championship outright at 90.6% and the probability of winning with at least a share of the championship at 99.2%. For my money, a win in Waco the the conference championship comes to Lawrence. But don't despair if we lose in Waco. The probabilities are still in out favor with a 51.1% probability of winning the conference championship outright and an 86.1% probability of winning at least a share. As it stands at this moment, we have a 66.6% probability of winning outright and a 91% probability of winning at least a share. Of course one of the things about probabilities is they are less and less meaningful with a smaller and smaller data set. With only 4 games to go and 3 for most teams, a lot can change with the outcome of a single game.
Don't worry about the mules, just load the wagon!!
