Yeah, I know that "Psycho" moniker has previously been poorly used elsewhere, but I'm just stating what the trainer said (although I did rearrange the words to get there :woohoo: )

Just curious why players would have to go outside the KU training staff to get in workouts like this. Never heard anyone using outside sources when Hudy was there. Possibly due to limited hours a KU staffer can spend with players during the week?

I think that is exactly why, AZhawk87.

Instead of spending extra training hours outside of NCAA limits working out on their own, this arrangement -- which I have to assume is with Self's blessing -- gives players more supervised training opportunities. And that "outside eye" evaluating them hopefully helps them see more improvement than they would develop working out on their own after allowed hours.
