I guess a blowout is better than choking away a SB appearance…

Kensucky is going to hurt for a looooong time. The Chiefs had a good run.
Both teams will be back next season -- just like us!!

You a 9’ers fan, my Brother? I was pulling for them. My sports weekend was an absolute bust!
Oh well, next up Iowa State.

I need to add in the UMNT lost to Canada 2-0 in soccer. I think what made it worse in all 3 games the team I was routing for was favored and lost. The Kentucky defeat was the worst. I think HCBS is looking for answers just as all of us are. How can we get Big Dave to play well. That changes things a lot when he does. I think Mr. McCormack is trying hard and knows he needs to play better. He wants to play better and I hope in the end he can find a way to. It seems to me he lets negative plays drag him down and that is really hard to overcome.

Hi Wheatie!
I used to live fairly close (40 minute stagger -- errr -- walk from the Royals and Chiefs' stadiumplex (I made that up). Saw a lot of games back in the day. Three dollar bleacher seats and three dollar 16 oz. beer got us in and out for less than $10!!!
I was a Dan Fouts & Chargers fan until the Chiefs won me over. I was all excited about the Chiefs 'niners rematch . . . Oh, well.
Favorite memories: Hearing the roar of the crowd from Royals park about eight seconds after George Brett would knock one out of the city in my house while watching it on TV!!

While KU loss hurts the pride, in big scheme HCBS is right, get back to the conf and focus on that. The Chiefs regressed to their break your heart in the cruelest possible way in the playoffs.. Mahomes looked anything but himself in 2H and you only get so many shots in the NFL unless your TB12…handing that game to the Bungles on a silver platter.
