I thought KSU played great in the first half and Mr. Pack for KSU was on fire. The Hawks adjusted forced Mr. Nowell to his left as much as possible and kept chipping away at the lead. This one is going to be an interesting one to evaluate player contribution. Of course I think that is super interesting after every game. KU shot less than 25% from 3 and won. I think a big reason is almost a 2 to advantage on the boards. Whew that was intense.

Wilson was the man of the day. He played so hard and fought every possession. Ochai did what he does - score when needed - but without Wilson we wouldn’t have had a chance.

Loved the guys waving to the fans. Just sucked the soul out of KStsaters

As much as I hated the fact we were down by so much, it made it even more satisfying to come back and win!!! It seemed hard to believe that Pack and Nowell would continue their heroics for the entire game, although they nearly did. What the announcers described as "circus shots" were pretty crazy ... I can stomach a couple of them, but they seemed to be in abundance.

Another gritty win, which I hope will continue to pay dividends down the road.
