He can score, but has to shoot every time he touches the ball. I don’t think that makes us better.
Last night he was a beast of energy, and focused on rebounding and being physically dominant. He was the singular player that set the tone for intensity for KU. Everyone else fed off that.
He got his points, but in the flow of the game and in strategic ways - not by shooting every time.
If we get last night’s Mac - energy, rebounds and timely scoring when it makes sense - we will be very tough to beat.
