One of the things that worried me in this game is that even though overall we shot 75% from the free throw line. Late in the game, when OSU was trying to foul, twice in a row we missed the front end of a 1 and 1. Hopefully the Hawks can learn from this and make those free throws at critical times.

“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”
1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.
Just win, Baby.
(And yeah, as a lifelong Chiefs fan, it pains me to appropriate such a classic adage from an arch-foe!)
