Don't worry about the mules, just load the wagon!!
Gallagher-Iba arena opened in 1938. Since that time KU has played in it 71 times. We are 35-36 for a record of 49.3%. There are a few other arenas where our percentage is worse but KU has lost more games (36) in GIA than in any other competitor arena. The next worst is Ahearn Fieldhouse at 26. Now if you were counting cities, then Columbia would take the prize with 55 losses followed by Manhattan at 53. But Columbia includes 4 arenas and Manhattan includes 3. Ames would also top GIA with 39 losses in 3 arenas. For that matter, Lincoln, NE saw 46 losses by Kansas in 3 arenas. Norman is the site of 45 losses in 3 arenas. But in Norman we are 53%, in Ames we are 64%, in Columbia we are 55% and in Lincoln we are 59%. Stillwater is the only place with a winning % below 50%. Not only that but the real acid test is to compare the scoring margin to expectation which I can uniquely do because of my DPPI. When you do that you see that without a doubt, Stillwater and GIA is the biggest nemesis for Kansas.
Overall, on the road since 2004 KU has played 1.0 points above projection. But in Stillwater KU has averaged playing 4.9 points below projection. By far the worst of all cities, even Morgantown. That is 5.9 points below the average. We are also slightly below average playing Oklahoma St. in Lawrence but only by 1.1 points. We play 15.5 points better against Oklahoma St in Lawrence than in Stillwater. The average for all conference opponents is 9.5. Clearly Stillwater is not a friendly place for KU.

Funny that one of our best coaches is only 6-8 there... but then it is his alma mater, and it does seem to give him the yips sometimes.
That's the reason I call it "Bal-chatri" (raptor trap) instead of GIA.
Even though Self's Jayhawks are just 3-6 in Morgantown, making it KU's worst W-L% arena (KU is 15-0 against them everywhere else, for 15-6 overall -- them Mountaineers love that home cookin'), I reserve the sobriquet for his alma mater.
And the info is really not that surprising when you consider that OK St has such a strong hoops history. Shoot , before last year they were the only other conference program with any NCAA men's hoops titles in their history, having won 2 before KU won any (1945 and 1946).
