Don't worry about the mules, just load the wagon!!
Not an active day today.
1. 18 of 39 scheduled games were canceled or postponed today. That has been the norm lately. It seem that with that percentage no team will escape this postponement pandemic. Live with it.
2. Michigan St. had decent 6 point win over Northwestern on the road but it didn't move then in the DPPI. They are still at 13th.
3. Will UCLA ever play again. They played 1 game in December.
4. UNC had dominant win over Boston College, 17 points above projection. But it only moves them up to 34th in the DPPI.
5. Houston has very lackluster 5 point win over Temple. That game drops them from 5th to 7th in the DPPI which results in KU moving up to 5th.
6. K-State lowest rated Big 12 team but still in 75th. That is good for 50th among the 76 Power 6 conference teams.
7. Ohio St. has okay 8 point win against lowly Nebraska on the road. It was 3 points below projection but they stay 18th in the DPPI.
8. When will BYU get some love. Surprisingly the Pollsters are getting things right this year for the most part with the exception of BYU.
9. The top 6 teams in the DPPI are still very stacked and within 1.082 points. They are Baylor, Arizona, Auburn, LSU, Kansas and Gonzaga. A really good or bad game can move a team 2, 3 or even 4 places pretty easily.
10. Kanas is a 10.4 point favorite against Oklahoma St. Tuesday. Stillwater has not been good to Kansas. Surprisingly, OSU (58) is ranked about the same as Iona (60) and North Texas (61). Kansas defeated both of those teams by the exact margin projected by the DPPI. Let's hope the OSU game is the same.
11. Kansas is projected to win 25.0 games and Kentucky is projected to win 22.6 games. We will not catch them during conference play at that rate. But there is always the conference tourneys and the NCAA tourney. This could be the year.
12. The player rating chart for the George Mason game was mighty ugly. Take a look.
