I really want to vote for our football team's first in history win over Texas in Austin, but I have to go with something else that made that W a possibility.

Has to be the hiring of Goff and Liepold.
I don't make this statement lightly or to be mean spirited, but our administration and its handling of the football team and staff selection had become a clown show. Every hiring of a head coach, the on field performance, the off field issues, etc. was poor and reflected very negatively on KU. It had become so bad that my friends kinda stopped ribbing me about it. It was almost too pathetic for them to enjoy giving me the business.
I don't know where we will be in 3-5 years, but I have a sense of stability now, which has been sorely lacking. This statement itself speaks volumes about the past ten years - when we are pleased with stability, and see success in a two win season.
