Don't worry about the mules, just load the wagon!!
1. Kansas moves into 5th in the DPPI barely ahead of Auburn in 6th by virtue of SOS slightly improving.
2. KU's first opponent Michigan St. has moved to 11th in the DPPI, North Texas to 92, Dayton to 80th, Iona to 56th and St. John's to 82. KU's SOS is now ranked 32.
3. KU has 6th ranked offense and 9th ranked defense.
4. Baylor had big 21 point win over 13th ranked Villanova and moves into a solid 3rd in the DPPI.
5. Kansas State defeats Green Bay and moves up slightly to 77th.
6. Memphis (48th), St. Bonaventure (65th), Arkansas (41st) and Michigan (45th) are still receiving votes for the top 25 and they should not receive a single vote. Hopefully that will be fixed in tomorrows poll.
7. Virginia Tech (29th) and UAB (27th) were not among the 39 teams receiving votes in the AP Poll. They ought to receive a few votes. They are being overlooked.
8. If the Big 12 lost Texas (14th) and OU (36th) and added BYU (28th), Houston (4th), Cincy (64th) and UCF (72nd) it would still be the top ranked conference in the country.
9. KU projection back to winning 25.5 games through conference play.
10. 7 teams remain undefeated including Iowa St. (35) and Baylor (3rd). Pac-12 also has 2 undefeated teams in Arizona (1st) and USC (18th). LSU (2nd), Colorado St. (24th) and San Francisco (32nd) other undefeated teams.
11. Baylor likely the No. 1 team in the AP Poll tomorrow.
12. Purdue needed OT to defeat NC State to avoid 2nd straight upset. Should fall below Kansas in the AP Poll.
13. Home court advantage is still low (2.5 points) but creeping back toward expected normal (3.4 points or so)
14. ACC has fallen below the Pac-12 for worst conference. A super down year for the ACC. Only 1 team (Duke - 10th) in the DPPI top 25.
15. Kentucky lost yesterday so KU is now within 3 games for all time wins. DPPI projects Kentucky to go 17.5-13.5 through conference play. KU projected to win 25.5 or 8 more than Kentucky. It is very possible when we play Kentucky we could be tied for all-time wins. How fun would that be?

"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." - Mark Twain "Innocents Abroad"
Re: UK --
Both KU and UK have one game this week, both on Saturday DEC 18
SFAustin @KU
Ohio State @UK
Ohio St has made a good showing so far, so I'm really hoping UK's lead will be down to 2 come Saturday night.
