I think the numbers re-enforce what you said the other day about how well Mr. Braun is playing. Mr. Agbaji gets most of the media hype though recently they have paid a little attention to Mr. Braun. He definately does so many things well right now that make his game complete. Hopefully he and Mr. Agbaji can maintain this level of play for the whole season. Let the other guys get more and more comfortable and the Hawks could be a pretty good team. If the defense comes around it could be really good.

Don't worry about the mules, just load the wagon!!
Last season many coaches waxed about how easy KU was to defend (relatively speaking). We did not have a great amount of dynamism in our offense. It showed with the lowest PPP offense in Self's tenure and by a good margin. Self was highly focused on fixing that problem with his recruiting. And by all measure he did. But yesterday Self alluded to a potential problem that I have been averring as well. When you have a point guard that is zero offensive threat, that can be a real problem. Apparently Cuanzo Martin was planning on playing 5 on 4 and basically not guarding DaJuan Harris. The best counter strategy to that strategy is for DaJuan to make them pay. And boy did he ever. This is exactly the thing we need to take this team ot the next level. I am not advocating making DaJuan the primary offensive option or anything silly like that. But he needs to not hesitate to take the shot when it comes in the flow of the offense. That will force teams to keep on him and free up the rest of the guys. If DaJuan can average 8-10 a game while playing 30 minutes it will change the face of this team. There is no doubt DaJaun is one of the best offensive flow guys we have had at Kansas. And his defense is strong and improving. But until his lack of offense ceases to be a liability we will not be at our best. He was crazy good on offense yesterday. He does not need to be that dynamic but he does need to be ready to shoot when they sag off. That was to me the most encouraging thing about the game yesterday that had lots of encouraging things.
