+/- and Player Ratings for Iona and season

As for the player ratings, the bench was pathetic, mostly due to defense. Yesufu and KJ Adams had some good offense but the player rating is more than just offense. It is the full meal deal and their defense was so bad it overshadowed their excellent offense. The lone exception on the bench was Lightfoot who has a stupendous game. 4 of the 5 starters had good games with the exception of Ochai. Ochai has been fading a little each game. Christian, OTOH seems to be strengthening. He had a great game leading the team in overall rating. Remy was second on the team in total rating and seems to be coming on as well. David had an overall outstanding game from a player rating standpoint. Here are the player ratings for the game and cumulative for the season. Christian has taken over the lead for total player rating. Remy is also pushing to catch Ochai who is second. Dajuan, had his second solid game of the year. The bench started the season so promising but is waning a bit. And the waning is mostly on the defensive side of the ball.





As for +/- it tells a lot of the story. The starters had all the +/- with the exception of Mitch. Yesufu actually had a zero +/-. When we win by 13 points you would generally expect everyone to be positive in the +/-. Braun seemed to have the biggest defensive impact. When he was in the game, Ioan scored 1.9 points per minute. Wen he was on the bench Iona scored 3.05 points per minute. That is a huge difference. Agbaji was just the opposite. Iona scored at a higher pace with Agbaj in the game. Not a great defensive game for Ochai. Here are the +/- numbers.

I thought it was telling that with around 4 minutes left in the game put most of the starters back in and he did not look happy about it.
