SEC! SEC! SEC!

Misery bites the dust in a blowout loss at home to UMKC. Love it! :cheer:

KUMBB 2-0, historic KUFB win, SEC bound OU, tu lose in FB —and hoops for tu — and in the Hellmouth the Roos go all Buffy on the walking dead.

I’m a-celebratin’!

I still don't know why we're bothering to play those clowns (yeah yeah $$$). I think we need to run the score up on them, beat 'em by 30 and then afterward Self should announce that the "experiment" with reviving the 'rivalry' is over due to the simple fact that they can't field a decent team or even get 50% of their fans to show up (46% attendance for UMKC game). Without being able to provide a competitive team, no boost in our strength of schedule, and an uneven balance between who is getting the butts in seats, there's no benefit for KU to schedule them and give them the spotlight and payday.

We're better off throwing these financial boons to other cupcakes like Tarleton where Self has a connection to the coach, or someplace like Missouri Southern where former players (Jeff Boschee) are coaching.

"When I was a freshman, I remember Coach Naismith telling us how important it was to play good defense." - Mitch Lightfoot
