No one has been better at getting good preseason ranks than Kansas under Bill Self. This is Bill Self's 19th preseason poll at KU. In that time he has been in the top 5 in 12 of those 19 years. Here is a complete list of the top 5 finishers in the last 19 seasons. You can see that Bill Self and Kansas leads the pack rather comfortably.
