I know not everyone here loves the NBA game (For me, I enjoy it, but don't love it), but I think you have to like these new points of emphasis. This article nicely explains four examples of 'abnormal' moves from foul-hunting stars with video evidence to help support the explanation.

I watch very little NBA and this kind of stuff is one of the reasons. It is more real than professional wrestling but nothing
