"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." - Mark Twain "Innocents Abroad"
Period window is open through May 19, 2021.
Sydney Curry is signing on Wednesday.
Bobby Pettiford is signing on Friday.
Transfers Joseph Yesefu and Cam Martin will be signing financial aid agreements. Both are signing on Wednesday.
Here is a recap as of today...
COMMITTED/SIGNEDAs of this afternoon, with Bryce Thompson transferring KU has two (2) scholarships open, and is in pursuit of Creighton transfer big man
Christian Bishop
and Rivals 4* CG
TyTy Washington, Jr.
KU's biggest competition for TyTy is projected to be UCLA and Baylor, who just offered TyTy yesterday. Bishop is a junior (6-7/220) from Lee's Summit, MO seems to really want to be a Jayhawk.
Both Ochai Agbaji and Jalen Wilson have entered the NBA draft. The lay of the land opinion is that OA is 50-50 to go despite not really being ready, and JW will be back after getting evaluations to use to improve his game and draft stock.
Expect Self to keep both OA and JW rides open so they may return if they want. (No, this won't be a Quentin Grimes situation.)
But be aware that S&Co are still pursuing options in case one or both stay in the draft such as
Utah Utes transfer G Alfonso Plummer (6-1/182)
and
former Alabama commit JUCO PF Langston Wilson (6-9/200) (rated as #1 JUCO PF and overall #2 JUCO prospect... and yes, there is still the case of Tyon Grant-Foster for comparison, but there are also Terry Brown, Mario Little and Jeff Graves... see list here for more).
IMPORTANT DEADLINES
WEDNESDAY 2021-07-07, 11:59 PM ET: NCAA deadline to withdraw from draft and retain eligibility assuming no agent is hired. Date is ten days after the final day of the annual NBA Draft Combine, scheduled for June 21-27, 2021. This date is NOT the same as the NBA's deadline to withdraw from the draft (5:00 PM ET 2021-07-19, 10 days before the NBA draft is held).
Per NCAA rules approved in August 2018, effective with the 2019 NBA Draft players can hire an agent and still return to school.
Note that the approved NCAA rule that would allow a player who stayed in the draft but went undrafted to return to school does not go into effect until the NBA and the NBPA make their final decision on such players not being NBA eligible again until the next school year is over (expected to be approved, but has not been yet).

Updated the OP to reflect the news that Bryce Thompson was transferring and to provide the intended signing dates for all four current KU commitments not yet signed.
