“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”
1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.
I picked the Zags to win it all, and would truly relish a Gonzaga-Baylor NC game - just to see the season's two best teams duke it out in a premier heavyweight fight.
That being said, I do think USC presents some matchup problems that might make Gonzaga a bit more uncomfortable than they're used to. In the end, though, I foresee chalk holding tonight: Gonzaga and Michigan advance. I then foresee the Zags taking down the Wolverines, and the Bears getting past Houston - probably in a blowout.
Should be interesting!

Tonight's games promise to be two of the best in the tournament. Like you, I am hoping for a Zags-Bears FF with the Bears winning it all (Big 12 flag flying high).
But USC, with its people playing at probably their highest levels of the season, does look to be a challenge for the Zags.
Which is why we play the games...

If USC brothers have career nights like they did against KU, and sink tons of threes, then they could easily upset Zags.
If they play like mere freshman mortals like their last game, Zags will be tough to beat.
