Baylor gutted one out tonight despite a frigid shooting night. Good riddance Nova

“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”

Good riddance, indeed. I was fearing a win by them because their path to the NC game would’ve been rather soft.
Big props to Baylor and Drew. Never thought I’d say that a few years ago, but I’m glad to see someone in the Big 12 go deep. And I truly believe that the best NC game we could hope for would be Baylor-Gonzaga.
PS: that game changed when Mayer, of all Baylor players, came into the game in the 2nd half. From then on Baylor hit their stride and never looked back - even with their 3 attack being hampered.

Exactly the game turned when Baylor just went inside. Baylor also played tough D in the 2nd half. Now hoping for ORU to beat Arkansas.

I really do not like Boeheim, 1996 and 2003 just made me dislike him even more. He is such a whiner.

Watching the S16 games, the teams that are playing and winning are matchup nightmares. They are long at all 5 spots, all 5 spots can stretch the D and not all of these players are 5/4 star recruits...hopefully the KU pipeline starts to fill with these types of recruits.
