Confirming more coaching carousel news that broke earlier tonight: UNLV coach TJ Otzelberger is expected to be named the next coach at Iowa State, sources tell @CBSSports. Those within UNLV’s program believe the move is imminent. The news was first reported by @BySamGordon.
Source: Iowa State owes approximately $5.5 million to Steve Prohm after his firing, and it will also have to pay somewhere between $4-4.5 million to front Otzelberger’s buyout from UNLV.
