BREAKING—Kansas has a player who’s tested positive for COVID and has been removed from the Big 12 Tournament, sources tell CBSSports. Jayhawks were supposed to play Texas tonight in the semis. KU kept two players home due to COVID protocols, prior to leaving for Kansas City. Matt Norlander (@MattNorlander)

And with a player testing positive, that player is out of at least the first weekend of the NCAAT.

The question is will KU be out of it as well?

Hope the affected folks a speedy recovery and if the NCAAT streak is lost so be it.. really feel for the kids, coaches and the team.

They were having the streak discussion on Reddit. Seems to me if we are seeded and bracketed, we still made the tournament even if we end up not playing a the last minute.

Hearing it was two players that tested positive.
