The Hawks did not play very well today and they definitely did not shoot the ball very well. They won and that is what counts. ISU made as many free throws as the Hawk attempted even though I thought the hawk worked the ball inside more.

I agree it wasn’t pretty, especially the first half, but I would point out that after the AFH blowout a letdown was a big concern... yet they managed to right the ship and not only win but beat the substantial spread as well.
Much improvement needed still, especially now with Bryant back, but definitely steps forward.
Hitting shots in the first half as well as they do in the second is a goal to aspire to...

That issue of missing shots in the first half is something that I hope they can figure out. They would do much better if they didn't start 3 of 15 or whatever it has been the last couple games.
