Don't blame our front court for the recent 5 game swoon where we lost 4 of 5 games. Mitch and Davis were the only players on the roster who met expectations in all 5 of those games. Here is a breakdown of who met expectations.

McCormack - 5 of 5
Lightfoot - 5 of 5
Garrett - 4 of 5 (only Oklahoma State)
Enaruna - 4 of 5
Harris 3 of 5
Grant-Foster - 3 of 5
Wilson - 1 of 5 (Tennessee)
Braun - 1 of 5 (Baylor)
Agbaji - 0 of 5

It was this same threesome who really dropped the ball against Texas as well.

Pretty much our starting backcourt with the exception of Marcus has been well subpar. All three were back in form against K-State. Let's hope it stays that way. Here are two graphs. It separates out these three from the rest of the team.

BTW, the little Jayhawk is the expected rating.

Don't worry about the mules, just load the wagon!!

I think a lot of it comes down to making shots. It looks to me that all 3 of those guys let some missed shots early affect their game more than we want. That is just my opinion and I have not the expertise Corpus has to do the analysis but I think we would see that in all that swoon our 3Pt% was bad.

Corpus- sincerely appreciate all the data analysis and efforts; but at some point we just have to accept that this team is downright lousy.. fall apart at first sign of trouble, someone make WVU look like offensive juggernaut which they are not. Let’s call a spade a spade- this group of players are not meshing.
