I've been up all night, so I'm going to keep this short. Kentucky is now
1-4, so the Kansas strength of schedule has been sagging (it would have
sagged even more had the Tarleton game happened), and that marginal win
over the Wildcats means the power rating for Kansas has been going down
along with Kentucky's. As such, Kansas is now the underdog in today's
contest in Lubbock. Real Time is the most pessimistic, picking the Red
Raiders by 14. Colley is the most optimistic, making Kansas the favorite
by a fractional point. At least it rounds up. Yes, Whitlock's "prediction"
is even more optimistic, but considering how he isn't on board for this
season yet, it's last year's teams his ratings are comparing. Kansas is,
on average, a 2.4 point underdog. Texas Tech lost to the only decent
opponent they've faced, however, and they've played below expectation by
around 9 points in their last two games. Meanwhile, Kansas had its most
above-expectation game against Omaha last Friday.

Texas Tech has the advantage in five of eight offensive categories and in
four of seven defensive categories. However, opponents points per game is
one of those stats that depends on the strength of your opponents, and
Texas Tech has played mostly cupcakes. They lost their toughest game,
and their game against the second-toughest opponent to date was canceled.

Thanks
I hate betting on the Hawks as road dogs and have no intention to do so tonight, or to bet any aspect of this game. Though the under seems tempting.
But one thing I would have to know is what kind of crowd will be allowed in how many, mostly students?
This might be a rock fight; at least the Hawks have closed out a few close ones.
