The game against St Joe went about as predicted except a little bit better. I thought a few calls went our way that maybe would have had us win by less than 20. So far I have been very happy with Mr. Wilson's rebounding. 9 boards in 24 minutes is not too bad. I thought Mr Harris showed he really does pass the ball very well. I thought Mr. Enaruna looked good even though in the box score he had only 6 points on 6 shots. It looked to me that Mr. Garrett struggled a bit on offense. Mr Agbaji pretty pretty solid on both sides of the floor. Mr Braun was terrific. 30 points on 13 shot attempts is really good but he also had 9 rebounds and 4 steals on top of that. This team still has a ways to go in playing the best team ball but they are learning. I agree with the very knowledgeable Astroid or maybe it was Corpus who said we won't learn as much about where this team is at from the St. Joseph's game as we will from Kentucky. Let's see what direction HCBS takes this team.

Young guns looked great, and not intimidated at all. They’re shooters and scorers, and need playing time. Wilson and Thompson should start. Harris should get plenty of time at point to get a rhythm.

Braun will be in my all time top five players by the time he’s done, with Landen Lucas and other non 5 star guys.

Garrett needs to play off guard, not point. His defense disappears when he plays point. Harris is our guy at point, and Garrett played much better off point.

Overall, play small, fast and aggressive. Shoot, defend the perimeter, run run run. Mitch can be our part time rim defender, hard fouler and bringer of grit and attitude.

Mac is just not very good, and does not appear to have a high BB IQ. For a third year guy, he gets super sped up out of control.
